Adele trained in Relational Somatic Therapy and Internal Family Systems therapy, among other psychotherapeutic modalities, and is completing a master’s degree in clinical social work at the University of Calgary, specializing in trauma recovery. She is designated by the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada (ACCT) to work with clients as a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor (RTC).

In addition, Adele is an instructor at Numinus, teaching courses to healthcare practitioners on topics such as psychedelic integration and psychedelic-assisted therapy for problematic substance use. Her teaching draws on over a decade of experience learning from Amazonian plant medicines. Before Adele’s interests in psychology and traditional medicines set her on a new course, she worked as an educator in various contexts, including instructing undergraduate literature and writing.
